At the end of the night, Clint stopped to pose with Derrick Beckles of Totally For Teens fame. Derrick Beckles declared that he was "going for a bromance feel" with this picture, which was unnecessarily awkward and quite funny.
Incindentally, he played the Totally For Teens pilot after introducing it, talking about lying to all the child stars about Good Charlotte playing, and talking about how Cartoon Network said it was too crazy and controversial to pick up as a TV show, despite the fact that they had a script of it before they green-lighted the pilot being made. Funny stuff; a video upload of that intro will be posted later. They also played his "Workout Video" project, which was a long montage of various terrible workout videos. It was a great example of horrible, horrible television. It was a bit long, but hilarious at parts. I have a small video of 1.5 minutes of that as well.
This picture was taken after our 1G Canon card was completely filled, thanks to Carolyn's Android cellphone. I had accidentally turned on auto-bracketing on my Canon, and thus ended up with 2 copies of every picture I took. But the real memory card killer was the 840 megs of video I took that night.

The disc we got from Netflix was shattered in three places. And it kept happening. This is the fifth time (of many). We basically wasted half of our "2 slots for a month for free" by getting this same disc over and over; it was NEVER intact.
Also featured is the full-length video for Marillion, called Brave. Although we don't listen to Marillion, it is directed by Richard Stanley, director of the excellent cyberpunk sci-fi horror film Hardware (1990), which was just released to bluray. We decided to check out his other stuff. His directring ability is so amazing that he can make an unenjoyable story (Dust Devil) still look beautiful. So this music video should be interesting.

Thu Tran danced with the crowd.
After the abstract video and Thu Tran's Food Party shorts, Bad Brilliance performed. They were... interesting. And different. And entertaining. The balloon head was quite amusing, as was the girl in panties, who didn't come on at first. Then the Balloon Head singer deliberately sat on the balloon, ceremoniously popping his own head at the climax of the performance. More stuff crossed off from my "list of stuff I never thought I'd see".

Comprehensive businessman and music producer Bryan O’Quinn has a long history of promoting developments in popular and underground music, stretching back to the early new jack swing and early hip hop house music era of the late 80’s and early 1990’s. A music video extra in Diana Ross’ Working Overtime 1989 Bryan O’Quinn has worked as an extra in the 1996 comedy motion picture Eddie starring Whoopi Goldberg and Frank Langella.
In music, independent music, often shortened to indie music or "indie" is a term used to describe independence from major commercial record labels or their subsidiaries, and an autonomous, Do-It-Yourself approach to recording and publishing. The 1990s brought Affiliated Independent Record Companies (AIRCO), whose most notable member was upstart punk - thrash label Mystic Records and The Independent Music Retailer's Association (IMRA), a short-lived organization founded by Mark Wilkins and Don Kulak
MP3 files and digital download sites such as Apple's iTunes changed the recording industry, an indie Neo-soul scene soon emerged from the urban Underground soul scenes of London, NYC, Philadelphia, Chicago and L.A., primarily due to commercial radio and the major label's focus on the marketing, promotion & Airplay of Pop and hip hop music during this period.
Bryan O’Quinn believes that too many young artist today seem to focus their work on outdoing the next artist with such an unrealistic emphasis on the superficial aspects of show business. “I believe that creating good music is not about competition at all but rather communicating a your message or telling your story , Mr. O’Quinn explains “ nobody else can tell your story the way you can your story, through your passion and your spirit in your music”. Bryan said, “This is true in any field if you keep doing what you love it will in turn yield so much more to you and to others around you!”

The attraction’s history is a rich and fascinating one, with roots dating back to the Paris of 1770. Easily the true star of the party, Columbus's most popular drag queen, Nina West, performed two numbers complete with backup dancers. More than 0 and dozens of much-needed items were donated to charity partner, Dress for Success Columbus, making Yelp Columbus's first open party a drop-dead, five-star night to remember.

The United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) has been involved in incredible environmental outreach services since 1972. Though they do an amazing job on their own of educating curious world citizens through their extensive and detailed website and programs, various celebrities have volunteered to stand alongside them to support their cause.
Supermodel Gisele Bundchen, and Academy Award nominee, Don Cheadle have both been appointed as ambassadors for UNEP, exuding great effort to help bring awareness and support to the important work UNEP is doing.
Loyal Studios in Santa Monica was proud to lend its studio to Bundchen and Cheadle, having had previously worked with Cheadle on a commercial in January, 2011–co-produced by Loyal Studios owner, Bob Bekian.
Their relationship continued when Cheadle formally asked Bekian to co-produce a spot for UNEP. Bekian happily donated his Santa Monica facility and production services, equipment, and crew for the project in support of Cheadle and Bundchen, and their cause.
“The added bonus was working with Gisele.” Bekian states. “She is super cool, very down-to-earth, and genuinely a nice person.” The shoot ran flawlessly, and everyone enjoyed the experience of working with such incredibly talented and kind artists. “Our goal is to make professional production fun,” Bekian says, “and we want to do our part to help our world become a better place.”
The UNEP’s mission statement is, “To provide leadership and encourage partnership in caring for the environment by inspiring, informing, and enabling nations and peoples to improve their quality of life without compromising that of future generations.”
Gisele, Don Cheadle, and Loyal Studios are focused on putting the word out on the importance of caring about what we use our Earth for, while working in conjunction with our natural ecosystems to create a sustainable green economy.

Stevie Wonder was the headline act tonight, as he performed to an intimate audience of 2000 patrons, paying between 5 to 5 to see the music legend close up.
Around the corner on the red carpet, news media waited for the celebs. The name listed included Jennifer Hawkins and Jake Wall, Kate Richie and Stuart Webb, Wendell Sailor and wife Tara, Ricki-Lee Coulter and boyfriend Richard Harrison. Does anyone know how much the celebs are getting paid to turn up to Star invites, or is it just a win - win, all done to generate positive media buzz?
Finally, after what seemed like hours for Russell Crowe and beautiful wife, Danielle Spencer did the red, fresh off dinner at the revamped casino aka integrated entertainment complex.
For the record, Stevie Wonder did not do the red carpet. Promoters across Australia, if not the world, are attempting to find out how much money Mr Wonder is making for his intimate appearances at The Star, and that's likely to be something that is kept well under wraps for a while yet.
The Star may be a bit of a media darling at the moment, but nothing lasts forever. The Star would do well to go out of their way to also impress news media who have been quite supportive of the Echo Entertainment owned complex, since they first announced it was going to get a massive makeover.
We've heard that the next trump card for more news headlines will be the official opening of The Darling, the 5 star boutique lifestyle hotel and spa.
Just how long it may take The Star to recoup its almost billion dollar casino revamp investment is unknown, but Echo Entertainment looks to be in this for the long haul, so good on them.
