Immediately spoke to me of the bedazzled look a person gets when they see a celebrity. The starting point for further madness.
To put ANYONE on a pedestal and then cover them with the fantasy that they are so much better than other people, harms both the observer and the observed. Celebrities are not true stars, their shine is often from the surface only. Everyday we may pass greater lights unknowingly. We may not be aware of them as they have no entourage or paparazzi following, yet they would go about their daily business bringing their light and compassion to this world. They might be an old woman, a child, a street cleaner, a shopkeeper, a secretary or an ambulance driver. They may contribute more to this world than any movie star. Try and find them if you can....
